DeskCentre believe passionately in protecting the environment for future generations. Our fundamental belief and that of the Environment Agency is that re-use is the most efficient form of recycling in order to both alleviate landfill constraints and reduce the carbon footprint with the recycling of base materials, reducing the obvious requirement to manufacture new equipment.

DeskCentre is licensed by the Environment Agency as a carrier of controlled waste. We have processes in place to recycle all our cardboard and plastics. We also recycle all desking and seating along with electrical and electronic equipment.

All our cardboard is recycled and reused along with our plastics, any furniture that requires collection is fully accessed to establish whether the product can be recycled, we aim to reuse up to 95% of the products we collect. Products can either be broken down to be recycled or we work with local charities and schools to reuse the product and extend the life of products.
